Finally we celebrate the start of a new year. Everyone is ready to leave 2020 behind.
I want to talk about something a bit different. Let’s look for unexpected benefits from 2020.
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, January is a time when people traditionally evaluate their successes from the previous year and set goals. What did you accomplish? What do you want?
This really is a fabulous time for setting goals. If you want support in setting intentions, making plans, and following through, I encourage you to join the Mastermind group that Teresa Walkerley and I are starting to support all of us in creating success. See below the video for how to contact Teresa.
Now let’s look at a different aspect of turning the calendar forward.
Evaluating, What Do You Want to Continue?
Any way you look at it, 2020 was different. There was a lot of stress, trauma, and loss.
COVID social distancing imposed arbitrary restrictions. Today I look at an under-addressed aspect of this. Benefits.
Many people experienced unanticipated benefits from the externally imposed restrictions, including slowing down, and increased personal time, both at home and with family.
Let’s focus on what you may wish to carry forward. Assuming society returns to some sense of normalcy in 2021, what would be valuable to continue?
What do you want to Release?
There are obvious things that we all desire to stop doing as soon as we are able. But are there other things that you wish to discontinue?
Personally, I am going to decrease the frequency of these video blogs. I am switching back to monthly newsletters.
Are there aspects of your 2020 life that you want to release or change?
If you are ready to be more conscious and intentional in how you create your life, consider joining the Mastermind Group that Teresa and I are starting in just a few weeks. See below the video.
