What Is Spiritual Alignment Consulting?

This revolutionary intuitive approach to healing centers around working with your "Team." The conscious mind, unconscious mind, soul, spirit, and physical body and its abdominal brain. (This approach works within the context of whatever spiritual belief system you have.) Various members of your Team may be in resistance, holding you back.

How does your Team show itself? You have tasks to complete for a big project, and there is a heaviness in the pit of your stomach. You have an inner dialogue going on, with one side pushing forward to take action, and the other wanting to crawl into bed and hide. Or you just can't seem to get going, because you keep distracting yourself with busy work.

Can you see that there is a conflict going on? On a conscious level, you know what you need to do. But on deeper levels, you are dragging your heels. Is there any surprise that you don't accomplish your lifetime goals and dreams with the members of your Team wrestling like siblings?

My Experience of Spiritual Alignment Consulting

My first really powerful experience of this work was when my consultant identified what was blocking me from being successful. When she told me that I am genetically programmed for success, I didn't believe her. But when we looked further, I realized that she was oh so right. I am Chinese. But for my whole life I have pretended that I'm white. As far as I was concerned, I'm only Chinese on a technical level. I look Chinese, and that's about it. My grandparents and great grandparents were actually highly successful. It took a lot for them to bring their families to the United States from China. Then my mother's parents were both successful chemists, and my great grandfather was an extraordinarily ambitious and ingenious restaurant owner. My father's parents had a farm and then a very successful grocery store. I never thought of the family business as a major grocery store chain until I saw it in the newspaper. They were actually the first business to have all of the different types of food items in one store.

By resisting being Chinese, I had been pushing away this genetic heritage. Healing this provided tremendous freedom, and I was able to start believing I could be successful in my own business. I would never have figured this out on my own, because in my mind, this area of life didn't exist.

In my very next Spiritual Alignment session, I worked on my blocks to writing. Writing was always a struggle, and I avoided it whenever possible. I distracted myself, fell asleep, and scoured the kitchen looking for junk food. I felt like my writing had to be perfect, and of course it never was. What was in my way this time? My consultant said it had something to do with my father. I said, "That can't be right." I have believed that my experiences with my mother were the origins of all of my "stuff." My father is quiet. He gets a lot done without calling attention to himself. Well, so my whole life I have done everything possible to avoid being noticed. How can I ever be successful in business, if I don't want to be noticed?

Healing that one produced immediate and measurable results. I woke up the next morning planning an e-book to write. Then I sat down and started writing. It was so much easier, even fun. A friend of mine even commented that my writing in e-mail messages feels easier and lighter.
